  • Drones are developed only through parthenogenesis (arrhenotoky) and hence they are always haploid in nature (n)
  • Worker and Queen are developed from sexual mating and reproduction and hence will be diploid. (2n)
  • Differentiation of sterile works and queen is on the basis of food they are fed during their growth
