Sequence of development process in a plant cells :
- Plants follow different pathway in response to environment to from different types of structures with the ability called plasticity.

- Transition from juvenile to adult is gradual in Ipomoea, cotton etc, which is defined as homoblastic development. If the transition is abrupt, then it is heteroblastic development.
- The different aspects (or) appearances of plants in different seasons of a year is called phenology.
